The International Yachting Media Digest
Boating Magazine January March 2019
The International Yachting Media Digest is the first multimedia nautical magazine. It is a quarterly magazine that can be consulted in online multimedia mode, downloadable from any device and available in the most important virtual newsstands in the world.
In this first issue, divided into nine different thematic areas, we visit the new vessels of the most prestigious shipyards in the world exhibited at the boot of Düsseldorf 2019, in particular the MCY70 of Montecarlo Yachts and Contest 57CSof Contest Yachts, and at the Miami Yacht Show 2019, the Pardo 50 of Pardo Yachts and the 40 Open Sunreef Power Diamond Edition.
For the section “Sea trials”
We board the Privilege 6 for a sea trial 130 miles long, from Palma de Mallorca to Barcelona. We also discover how the 42CS Contest, the sailing boat of the historic Dutch shipyard Contest Yachts, the luxury Navetta 48 of the Piacenza shipyard Absolute Yachts, the elegant Maxi Rib MX12 Gran Sport of Cantieri Magazzù, the new Mercury Verado outboards 400 and finally the last jewel of Riva Yacht, the Riva 66.
is dedicated in this issue to the Copernican revolution of the Quick MC2X stabilizer and the HP BIBI intelligent watermaker from HP Watermakers.
The International Yachting Media Digest is not only nautical though:
Discover the section dedicated entirely to luxury and lifestyle
with the comparative test between Mazda Mx-5 and Nuova jolly Prince 30 Sport, two queens of open-air driving albeit in different environments.
We then study closely the technical characteristics of the Jaguar I-PACE, nominated in March European Car of the Year 2019 and prepare for the inauguration of the new cruise ship Celebrity Edge which will start on December 9th from Fort Lauderale, Florida.
For newbies or for owners who are always looking for nautical tricks and didactics, we share with you a trick for a soft and safe anchor using a Chain Clower.
The last two thematic areas of this first issue of The International Yachting Media Digest concern the “fishing from the boat“, with an in-depth study of the Big Game Fishing in Kenya and some advice on itineraries and characteristic places to visit by boat, such as Lavezzi and Budelli in north of Sardinia.
